Part 1 is the text. It explains, in easy to understand
language, the different concepts. |
|
Part
2 is the story that illustrates the text. All stories
include four characters that the children can easily identify
with. You will notice that the characters start out as young
children in Text #1 and grow into adolescence in Text #2.
|
| Part
3 is the Children's Creative Page. This is where
they interpret the theme by either drawing it or, if they can
write, writing about it. It's important for a parent or an adult
to review this page to ensure the child has grasped the concept.
Otherwise they should repeat the session with parent or adult
guidance. It is recommended that this home study course be viewed
one session per week for six (or more) consecutive weeks. And
the text theme be emphasized and practiced all week. This method
has proven to yield optimum results. |
